New cooking class

Thinking of having another cooking class REAL soon.  This time it will be gyoza (or potstickers) as some call them.  These are little Chinese/Japanese dumplings filled with meat and yummy veggies in a wonton wrapper.  I have been told that mine are kinda GREAT, so I'd like to pass along my talent to others.  I was shown by my good Japanese friend, Keiko a few years back.
Let me know if you are interested, and we will firm up a date.

Beef Bourguignon - success

We all wore our pearls -- secret to successful French cooking (ala Julia Child).  Step by step, we took turns browning the meat, vegetables, and eventually got it into the oven.  What wonderful smells began to emanate from the kitchen after about 1.5 hours...!  Cooked some fresh broccoli and french bread as side items, fresh mango key lime pie for dessert.  Yummo!  The finished product was excellent!  Stay tuned .....

Cooking class tonite

So tonight we will be cooking Julia Child's beef bourguignon. Erica, Nisha, Laura and myself will provide the hands on for cooking, ( and possibly the entertainment as well). Ed and Mike will eat it and hopefully it will be good...time will tell, look for photos later.
